Earwax removal
Blocked or plugged ears? Let’s clear them, safely.
A build-up of wax can muffle your hearing, set off ringing, and stop hearing aids from working their best. Our clinicians remove it gently and professionally — and only after we’ve confirmed that wax is really the problem.

Could it be wax?
A few signs you may need earwax removal
If any of these sound familiar, it’s worth a look. Come in and we’ll check before doing anything.
Sudden hearing loss
Sounds drop off or turn muffled, sometimes almost overnight.
A plugged, full feeling
Your ears feel blocked or under pressure, like they won’t “pop.”
Ringing or buzzing
Wax pressing on the eardrum can bring on tinnitus.
Itchiness
An itchy ear canal is often an early sign of build-up.
Drainage or discharge
Fluid or weeping from the ear that won’t settle.
Dark wax on cotton swabs
Swabs tend to push wax deeper and pack it in — a telltale sign.
Frequent build-up
Some people clear wax a few times a year, every year.
Hearing aids whistling
Feedback or squealing from your aids often means blocked canals.
Who we help
Built for hearing aid wearers — and chronic wax builders
Hearing aid wearers
Wax is the most common reason aids whistle, cut out, or sound dull. Keeping your canals clear keeps your devices performing the way they should — and keeps them out of the repair shop.
Chronic wax build-up
Some people are simply prone to heavy build-up (cerumen impaction) and need a clearing a few times a year. We’ll keep you comfortable and set up a routine that suits your ears.

How it works
We always check before we clear
We never start with removal. Every appointment begins by looking inside your ears, so we only go ahead when wax is genuinely the problem — and choose the safest way to clear it.
1
Pre-screening
We examine both ears and confirm that wax is the cause before doing anything else.
2
Gentle removal
If it’s needed, we clear it safely. A standard removal takes about 45 minutes — the Earigator, under 20.
3
Clear ears & advice
You leave hearing clearly, with simple tips to help keep build-up from coming back.
