This privacy statement is applicable to all HWBW and HWBW developed customer web-sites. At Hear Well Be Well Inc., we value the trust of our customers. To earn your trust, we respect your privacy in handling personally identifiable information relating to you and your transactions with us. This Privacy Statement describes the personally identifiable information we gather about you, what we do with it, the safeguards we have in place to protect it, and how you can control our use of it.

We may collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the site, place an order, give us a telephone call or send us a letter or e-mail. This personally identifiable information may include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, credit card number and expiration date, and other optional demographic information.

The personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to us will be used to process your orders, and may be used to identify you within our systems. We may use your email address to contact you if we have questions about your order. We may also use your email address to notify you about special promotional programs, or send you offers or information. We will always provide you with the ability to opt out of any of these programs.

Our databases are protected by physical, technical, and procedural measures that restrict information access to authorized persons in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Our information systems are maintained behind a software firewall to isolate them from access by other networks connected to the Internet. Only employees who require the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.

When personally identifiable information is collected through our web site, the transmission is encrypted using industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) technology and sensitive information such as credit card numbers or account information is encrypted for further protection. Our web site has a “Secure Site” section recognized by GeoTrust, a leading computer network security company.

Any personal information collected will be used for this site only and our own databases, no information will be passed on to any 3rd party. At any time, you may request to have your information removed from our database and we will fully comply.

Cookies:

Users should be aware that certain non-personal information and data may be automatically collected by HWBW through the operation of what are called “cookies”. “Cookies” are small text files that identify an individual computer’s browser entering a web site. They allow the site to track that browser’s movement through the site over several sessions. Through cookies, a web site can recognize repeat users, facilitate the user’s access to and use of the site and allow a site to track usage behaviour that will allow content improvements. HWBW uses cookies only for the above-mentioned purposes and will not use them to identify users or to track non-HWBW usage.

If you do not want a cookie placed on your computer by HWBW, you may disable cookies altogether by modifying the Preferences section of your browser. Note that it is possible that some aspects of HWBW sites may be unavailable to you if you choose this option. If you have no problem accepting cookies, but wish to be informed of their appearance, you may turn on a warning prompt by modifying the cookie warning section in the Preferences section of your browser.
